Problem

The problem with traditional blasting being utilized for cleaning is the damage that can be done because of high pressures needed to achieve cleaning on such delicate surfaces. You would never utilize a sandblaster to clean sandstone, marble, brick, or monuments because of the pitting that would be involved. The cleaning of any kind of wood with your conventional tools would be a nightmare as it would splinter the wood and raise the grain.

Solution

The EcoQuip system is extremely effective in being used as a “cleaning machine”. It has been utilized to clean splatters of bitumen, asphalt, concrete, paint and stucco off of materials such as brick, roadways, and concrete as well as for cleaning the equipment used for applying these materials. While it is successful at cleaning these harsh materials it is also well suited for cleaning mold, fungus, marine growth, leaching from the soil, and rust. It is the perfect tool for preparing surfaces for being painted or sealed, whether they need to just be cleaned or profiled for best adhesion. Wet abrasive blasting can also be used to restore woods such as teak furniture back to its original glory.
